Eden North was founded by Lyal Waddell in 1989 and is Western Canadas longest running drop zone, and most successful skydiving school. Eden uses training systems developed with the Canadian Sport Parachute Association’s leading instructors and the Canadian Forces SkyHawks training personnel. Our program is designed to take students through the basic skydiving skill levels efficiently and safely.

Backed by years of experience, using Canada’s top instructors with proven effective training programs, at the only location within 30 minutes of Edmonton - there is no better way for you to become part of the fun and adventure of skydiving.

Owner Lyal Waddell has over 20,000 jumps, and was the Training Advisor with the Canadian Forces Skyhawks for 19 years, developing some of the most exciting demonstrations of parachuting expertise ever witnessed. This team proved that with the proper training, unbelievable things can be accomplished under parachute; such as the tri by side, the quad downplane and the inside out parabatics maneuver.
